Not huge- mostly a space thing. But it's wider in areas and the surface is pretty easy on tires. If you ever go let me know and I'll ride over to meet you. It's only about 2 hrs from my house.

Not to strange to me. They build fine bikes but never tried a full on sportbike. With as much development as all the other companies have put into the segment, all they needed to do was study each model and bring something more to the table.

More electronics and power with a touch of bmw only styling and whalla you got yourself a winner.

Speaking of which no 600 shootout this year?? I'm guessing cause nothing has changed. Can't remember the last time that happened.

Stupid economy, the easiest fix to this depression is to have that top 5% that hold what 90% of the wealth in this world start spending their dough. Counting on the working class to repair the damage isn't helping much.

A winner on the street, but not so on the track even with their latest feats. The Aprillia and the BMW are so different and look who's leading the championship. Aprilia. It proves it's not about hp. It's funny all the respect they get (BMW) compair results between both bikes and the time they've been racing.

Me neither! But, yeah, Yamaha did some ECU work and a bigger pipe to give it some midrange while mitigating noise, but nothing else changed in the middleweight class. Be did manage to squeeze in two literbike shootouts!

Well, that's not the whole story.

The World Superstock championship uses machines much closer to production bikes, and the BMW has yet to be defeated this year.

The Aprilia Superbike has more power than the BMW. Just look at the trap speeds. The RSV4 is always at the top, and the BMW seldom is.

In the modern era, BMW has been racing at the world level for less than two years. Aprilia has won more than 120 GPs over the past two decades.

Kawasaki seem to have made some changes from the '86 ZX1000R I owned and enjoyed. I can't quite put my finger on it.....probably just BNG's.....
