I think he means dirty. He's kinda right. I've been to Jennings. It's only 4 hrs from my house. I like TalladegaGP better.

The track surface is not dirty. Ken your by Moroso, before they repaved that place it was a real mess. Jennings's pavement is a lot better then I expected since I hadn't been there in a while.

Last time I talked to Geoff May he was complaining about the turns beingg loose. That was April I think. Not that it's hard to take the blower out and clean corners- Just sayin.....

Ace- yeah its florida, if the winds blowing sometimes it comes onto the track surface. Cant be any worse then places like Vegas (old track) or Willow.

On the other hand yes there was a person who died there. This is just what I'v heard. The corner worker failed to see the rider run off the track. Apparently he ran off going into the back, turn5 which is the fastest part of the track. This rider was accompanied by only one friend who's session began afterwards. Once his buddies session was over he returned trying to find him and the bike but couldnt. Thats when they knew something was up. You wanna talk dangerous lets talk about Hawaii Raceway Park. Jennings is like a gp circiut compaired to Hawaii.

I ran my second race in Talladega in 1989. Small track but pretty fun as I remember. Had a major issue with my side stand switch in the pits, ended up trying to duc tape it because everyone in my pit went to the stands to watch, before I clicked her into 1st. Dooh!!! The first race I ended up dragging through the duc tape on the 5th lap at the apex in the last turn on to the straight I believe. Boy did I grab clutch and stand that thing up quick. Oh the memories!

No the pavements fine, they never race cars on it, ever.

Ken have you checked out Moroso lately, I here its gorgious compaired to what it once was.
