One thing I always admired about Ducati was their focus on engineering; producing bikes that are beautiful because of their functionality. Styling was the icing on the cake. Now they're bolting a fatassed tire onto what is clearly a marketing and styling exercise. They aren't even building an appropriate engine, they're re-tasking a sportbike mill.

Next thing Porsche will put a 4X4 pickup on the drawing boards.
