Does any one know if it is possible to put a longer shock on the rear of a 1978 CB750F Supersport? I need new shocks with a heavier rating & was wondering if I could add another 1"or 1-1/2" extra length as well? If someone could help me out & let me know which manufacturer has these that would be great .Thanks.

Possible? Yes. Advisable? I dunno - do you know what you're doing?

There are several moto-shock manufacturers out there (like, all of them) that will custom-build a shock to your spec, for suprisingly-little over the cost of the initial damper.
