I ended up completely taking out that ugly stitch on the outside of the shoulder, and it let the arms relax a bit. Overall, you can't really tell I did anythng except in some areas where the fabric looks like it was oddly cut or sewn (bunched up or folded a little weird). But I was wearing it when my GF came home yesterday and she didn't notice anything after talking to me for a couple minutes until I pointed it out. So as long as everytime I walk by someone they don't think I put it together frm scraps, Im good. And again, its better than walking by someone and having them think I bought 2 sizes too big to look cool :P .

And I didn't go the tailor / sailmaker route because I worried it would be too many parties to get it right. If the sailmaker / repairer got a stitch wrong or it ended up being an incorrect size, Id have to take it all the way back to the taiilor to do it again. So yeah... and not to mention the cost of hiring two separate parties, heh.

I think I am about done, though, as I broke my sewing needle last night heh (the thickest one I could find, actually...). I will post pics in a few hours.

Hahaha!

Ok, so I took out another pair of stitches which allowed the arms to hang a little lower without loosening the shoulders any. This made the sleeves long enough to cover my wrists and even my watch while in the riding position, so that should be perfect.

To get an idea of what I did, look at this picture. The two vertical grey strips that go from the waist to the insides of the shoulders are effectively gone. There are corresponding strips on the back that I also took out. This tightened up the torso and shoulders, naturally.

I had previously also taken in the grey strip that goes over the arm under the shoulder pad, thinking it would pull down the shoulders more, but all it served to do was shorten the sleeve, heh.
