After a bad experience being stuck in the city at 3 am looking for a place that would let me use there bathroom so i could change into my textile pants... im out shopping. I need something for this upcoming weather and easier to get on/off. something I can quickly zip over my jeans, and lightweight enough I can roll it up tight and throw in my bag.
so I guess a pair with the following: 1. lightweight, for spring/summer riding. to cut the wind. 2. ZIP over jeans easily 3. portable 4. no armor or insulation ( wear knee pads and need it compact ) thats it.... THANK YOU! |

Forgive the ignorance, but if you don't what armor or insulation, what purpose do these pants serve? (why cut the wind when it's hot?)
What about pants from a rain suit? There's always Aerostich, a number of options there, but all come with (removable) armor... |

shouldve explained more. I dont need armor becuase I wear knee armor underneath. And I dont want a liner because that adds bulk and I think liners are mainly for when its winter like temps.
im gonna update what im looking for because i realized theres more... 1) full leg zip overpants 2) lightweight 3) no liner 4) no armor or removable 5) waterproof its hard finding an overpant without a liner that is still waterproof. And on top of that lightweight enough to be rolled up. |
