I think the biggest advantage the japs still have over the euros is in the pricing department. I constantly see prices of new leftover models for Honda, kawasaki, suzuki and occasionally Yamaha at least 3-4 grand off of msrp.

With Bmw and Triumph posting profits for the 4th quarter of last year; plan on paying full dollar out the door.

Does aprilla still suffer from lousy dealer support for parts?

Should be interesting to see how the Beemer and aprilla hold up in the reliability department.

The $3K off MSRP isn't really an advantage for Jap OEMs or dealers.

Aprilia's parts support has improved greatly since it fell apart several years ago when funding got scarce.
