I need to adjust my HD pricing framework to "Post-Apocalypse." $27k would have been the high end, but if FLHTCU's are going for $18k these days...wow, what a difference 5 years makes.

I believe the highest ever MSRP for an Ultra was just under 22K. It doesn't mean someone didn't pay 27K for one, but those days are long gone.

Well, if you had a product that you made 50 of a year, and had 1000 buyers every year for it, what would the Name of the Game for your product be??

It would be "Let's F'n add another ten lines - 'cuz we gotta MAKE some of these things before the Consumer catches-on or the economy makes the bottom fall out!"

Ah, well nevermind that.

What would you do with the ten lines and all the infrastracture now? Just what Harley is doing. Eating it.

I like the price of old Harleys even better. A neighbor had a '37 61 cu.in. Knucklehead with exposed valve gear (lubriplate) and the exhaust valve would stick once and a while, no big thing, I guess it missed the piston on on old Knuckle, right? So anyway this thing runs pretty ratty, Joe Hunt Mag, skunky old pipes, rattle can paint job, mouse-trap, etc. and he wanted fifteen grand for it. That's about 10 old Kawasakis and a few Yamaha Enduros thrown in. Sheesh.
