This would put a hurt on scooter sales in the U.S. Especially from all the scooters and bikes from China. That price would be right in line to steal all the sales from Pep Boys and the likes that sell all that Chinese junk. Of course Honda would not sell them for that price here. If they did bring it here they would put an MSRP of at least double that on it.

Honda, import this bike to the U.S.! And keep the price low. I know a couple middle aged women who joined our motorcycle club who want to learn to ride and get into motorcycling, but are not going to drop $4000 or $7000 to see if they like it (or risk crashing it). And small bikes CAN be fun. Sometimes more fun than a "big" bike! What a great little bike, and looks great too! I could see people with campers and RV's maybe buying these things for local transportation and exploring away from their RV's. And lets not forget, while we all love the big bikes, it was small motorcycles that really got Honda where it is today. Maybe Honda has valid reasons for not bringing the Twister to the U.S., but I can't help but think it would get a lot of new riders on motorcycles and learning to to ride who, in a year or two, will be back in their Honda dealers looking at bigger bikes to move up to and buy. And new sales is something the whole motorcycle industry needs right now. I think it'd also be great PR for Honda...a cool 'little' bike that gets 135 MPG!

Honda also sells in other markets a very cool VTR250, which is a nifty V-Twin roadster in the mold of a Ducati Monster. But it's not brought in to the U.S. or Canada.

Hyosung has a nice sporty 250 Vtwin available here. They also had a sporty 125 Vtwin at one time but probably only sold about 5 of them. Damm Americans. Won't buy neat bikes.

Honda did indeed sell the VTR250 here for a couple of years. It lost sales to the Ninja 250. Perhaps because it did not have a full fairing.
