Well, you've probably noticed there is no F450 class in AMA racing this year, despite the AMA indicating last summer that it was on the table.

I think the original expectations were from guys like me, who thought it would be cheap and easy to build one.
Now it sounds like it would be cheap and easy to build a "fun" bike, but not a competitive one.

...my 1967 Bultaco Metralla... less power, but the same extraordinary handling experience.
I REALLY miss those old, sharp-as-a razor bikes. There were many such...the Montesa Impala, the Ossa Wildfire. The Suzuki Hustler was the beginning of the end; motorcycles were never the same thereafter. |
