An interesting retrospective, Pete. I thought for a minute there you were terminally depressed, then the second half of the article came along.

Burbon Street is supposed to be "skeezy." Try it with a guy named Sid sometime. It starts to make sense that way. Cafe Du Mond is allowed to be a bit dirty; they've been continually open since the Civil War...unless they closed during the Katrina mess. Hmm, I'll have to look into that.

Nice to see Ducati's flagship bike for the new decade is...a VStrom 1000. All I need now is a can of red spray paint.

I am, the only travel plans I have at the moment is a few days at Bike Week the first week of March. The weather is as good a SoCal at the moment...without the smog.
