I'm just glad that somebody is still trying to make their street bikes lighter.

Ahhh I was so close to having one of these. When Ducati first launched the Hyper I test rode one and was ready to buy.

However, those were the heady days of George Bush and there were waiting lists for such a machine. I bought the GT1000 instead at a discount.

Thankfully, the Dali Obama has cured all that and you can get one right now!

I've figured it out. "SP" stands for "YeSPlease!" :D

OK I'm still Jealous

I want this bike. Good for you Mr.Duke. If someone gets to ride every bike under the sun other than myself it might as well be someone that actually is capable of giving an honest, stellar analysis. You always seem to cover the important things (at least to me) on the bikes you review. I may end up with the new Multistrada but I can't help but want this bike in SP trim.

Great to hear, JMD! Been doing this awhile and care deeply about it, so it's nice to hear kudos for it.

Having a Hypermotard in a one-bike garage would be like marrying a porn star. It makes a whole lotta sense as a second or third bike. Stay tuned in March for a ride report on the new MTS!

"Having a Hypermotard in a one-bike garage would be like marrying a porn star. "

So there is a downside to this?? :)

Probably best that I don't know that answer! Or maybe it's sad...

MultiStrada, please. I like to actually go places and bring stuff along with me.

I want to know where I can get some sunglasses like Mr. Duke's. Those are some sick shades.
