Anyone cornering like this on this bike is on the wrong type bike. Anyone wanting to go 0-60 in less then 10 seconds shouldnt be on this type bike either. If you want to sport ride get a sport bike, want to cruise, get, well, a cruiser maybe? I dont jump or ride wheelies either, but have unintentionally done some dirt track cornering on ice.

No gloves and wearing tennis shoes....just as i imagined actually. A squid is a squid is a squid, don't really matter what you ride.

Why? Nothing is touching but a peg feeler. Don't be such a puss. Yes, it will wheelie as the rear fender's deformation will attest...

I'm so glad you are here to tell me how I should ride MY bike.

A Burgman Scooter will do that...

I drag race this bike in the American Motorcycle drags. It was #1 qualifier in the Bagger Class at Maryland International Raceway on August 9th. Third overall. It's kind of important that it be quick...

Wanna see an 11 second pass?

HC puts it in the 11s video by half_crazy-01 - Photobucket

That's another Kingpin in the left lane, same motor as mine, minus the headwork.

I must say, sneeks are my downfall. I have boots, but I prefer my New Balance. Probably wouldn't if I were to go down, but whatcha gonna do? Gloves for me are a must. I have gloves for every condition.

And the rest of us suffer on insurance rates. I dont have to be a motorcycle design engineer to tell you that if your filing parts and lifting wheels on 800+Lb bikes that your doing something wrong. I have too much to live for. Sure I've draged my boards, but I'm not gonna run time trials and see how long I can grind them through an off ramp.

Hey, judge and jury:

Maybe I'm doing something right? Did you see the video in the article? Did you hear the scraping noises? Nobody died! Imagine that! Yes, the whole world should do what you do... Spare me, dude.

5 years ago I hit a truck on my motorcycle at TWENTY MILES PER HOUR. Damned near severed my left leg. Yup, all those years motocross racing, riding enduros, roadracing, drag racing, crashing at obscene speeds... never got hurt. 20 mph crash damned near killed my ass. 30 days in the trauma center and 10 surgeries to re-attach that leg, and no, I'll never be the same. Not doing a wheelie, not carving corners, not street racing, hell, I was just shifting 2nd gear.

One picture and your insurance rates are my fault? Remember this, ANYTHING can happen. Had a friend die yesterday from a heart attack. He was 51. Since any of us could drop dead any minute, would you mind lightening up just a tad?
