Hello Everyone,
My name is Mihai Hogea and I am an Industrial Design student. for my graduate project i am designing a motorcycle helmet. It would be really helpful if you could fill this short 10 question survey out for me about motorcycle helmets and design. Here is the link: Motorcycle Helmet Design Poll Thanks so much |

Somebody tell me, exactly WHY is it that every design/engineering/marketing student in the entire F'n World keeps bringing their homework to us and expecting us to do it for them?

I suggested using Homer Buckets filled with spray foam for helmets. The orange is a very Hi-Vis color.

I would never buy a helmet designed by a student.

I'll tell you what- if you show us your innovative helmet we will gladly share with you all the changes you have to make for it to be DOT legal- not to mention Snell and EU standards.

I think helmets are dangeous. They can impair your hearing and break your neck in am impact. I think the correct design would be along the lines of the British Army's Tommy helmets of WW's 1&2 . You'll note the ears are exposed to facilitate hearing while the chin strap ensures the helmet will pop off before neck injury will occur. An added benefit in today's high crime urban areas is the Tommy's ability to deflect shrapnel and small arms fire.

Those tin hats? Puhleeze. The German Stahlhelm with the spike, so you can have a place to store doughnuts while you ride, would go over big with bike cops...
That limey helmet looked like a wash basin. I gave all kinds of crazy answers in the poll btw.
