I'm considering buying a set of JM hard saddlebags from a1hardbags.com. Does anyone know if this is a reputable company and are their bags decent quality. I phoned them in San Jose, CA and after a few rings someone answered "casually". Just didn't sound like a professional operation.

But $230 for (lockable) hardbags that are 25.5"x13.5"x7.5" sounds like a pretty good deal. I would really like to have the large capacity. Will go on my V Star 1300. I also have to decide between "Easy Brackets" and "Edge Ghost Brackets".

Also considering a set of used Yamaha leather covered bags but someone said the rain ruined the leather covering on his, so I'm not sure.

Decisions, Decisions!

Go with the Givi. Can't go wrong when you spend four-times as much, for a quality product that's not made with Chinese slave-labour................
