I'm considering buying a set of JM hard saddlebags from a1hardbags.com. Does anyone know if this is a reputable company and are their bags decent quality. I phoned them in San Jose, CA and after a few rings someone answered "casually". Just didn't sound like a professional operation.
But $230 for (lockable) hardbags that are 25.5"x13.5"x7.5" sounds like a pretty good deal. I would really like to have the large capacity. Will go on my V Star 1300. I also have to decide between "Easy Brackets" and "Edge Ghost Brackets". Also considering a set of used Yamaha leather covered bags but someone said the rain ruined the leather covering on his, so I'm not sure. Decisions, Decisions! Any comments appreciated! Thanks |

Go with the Givi. Can't go wrong when you spend four-times as much, for a quality product that's not made with Chinese slave-labour................
