Alrighty then, the recent fuel remap of the BMW cured the stalling problem and the bike runs great.
However, the computer keeps throwing up a warning for low oil level. I checked the oil and it's fine. So, off I head to the dealer this morning. They assured me the oil was just a little low and topped it off for me. The guy test rode it waiting for the light to go out. Oops! It didn't. They fiddled and fiddled and finally asked me if they could keep it until they could figure it out. They didn't have any loaner bikes available so I had to get a ride home. Them pesky Germans and their new-fangled computers. |

To avoid possibly becoming "Ghost Rider" (on fire that is) spend the $30 on the metal gas line quick connect male side, Stocker is plastic and almost torched me on my RS.

And every LA Ho, Is gonna smile, As Buzz Man breaks down Each and every mile. And so we're offering This simple prayer. For riders who Are near and far. Though it's been said, Many times, many ways. Well it's fixed. They called yesterday and received yet another download from BMW which got the computer recognizing the oil level sensor again.
longride is going to have to start taking computer manuals to bed with him alongside the service manuals. Make room Jen! |
