Pretty damned cool! I was looking at one of these at the local dealer. Might be my way back to some dirt riding along with short tripping around town.

Had a street legal YZ490, it was a hoot. Of course the front fender would bend around like a cheese omelet on the freeway, but nothing beats feet-up slides on asphalt and smoking squids on sport bikes from a dead stop (2nd gear starts). That Katoom is sweet, and I bet the top end lasts more than 15 hours...

Not legal in Kalifornia I bet....we need more tests like this on MO. Great stuff...

KTM EXCs are 50 state legal these days, as are the Huskies.

Love my older EXC to death. Not really a great street bike, though. DRZ is better for 50/50.

Fix the jetting, put on a folding mirror, remove the turn signals and ride. Sounds like a sweet deal to me!

ok there is a issue with the starter on this bike it don’t work you have to kick start it and the kick starter hits the foot peg and gouges it bad may only last a 100 kicks deep grove already 500 miles tires are already shot don’t get 500 miles out of them front and back the bike does 100mph and handle ok in the woods the seat is high and it does over heat bad in tight trail went down 2 teeth on front sprocket didn’t do much got to gear down the back witch makes u loss the swing arm rubber and guide got to have a fan kit on the cooling system the digital Speedo is weird odometer is hard to set turn signal burned off on the way home from the dealer to closes to the exhaust license plate bracket too low brakes off on hard use bent twice from tire hitting it relocate higher the kick stand broke right away plastic piece on the bottom and then the screw at lest the parts are cheap! Not that happy with it for the money buy a Honda
