So a failed line of problematic expensive motorcycles is Honda's idea of "innovation and success".

The Republicans really need to hire Honda's marketing firm. They have a heck of a way of spinning things.

I have a book I got when I had my VFR called "V Fource" all about Hondas racing efforts with the bike. I bought it mainly for the parts about Joey Dunlop but it was still a pretty cool book.

I put an air-cooled Wisconsin 30 HP V-4 in a golf cart, it did mondo wheeles. My buddy Rick lost control one afternoon (after too many Lucky Lagers) and drove it right through a double-door in the main bldg. at Silverlake Park. Then Tommy Perkins did a giant smoky burnout doughnut in his 455 Oldsmobug out front, and the place was madness I tell you, madness HAHHAHAHAHHAHAH

Regardless of your opinions on the V-4 configuration, there are some awesome photos at that website. It's worth browsing just to see the historic bikes and riders.

Cuddy, you would have loved the Buddah diesel that was in my bro-in-law's sailboat. It was about 4'X4', took up the whole aft end of his boat. It had a flywheel in front that weighed about 300#. He'd start it with a hand-crank arrangement while spraying WD-40 into the intake.
You could hear each distinct cycle as it started up at about 30 rpms. Even when running WFO it was probably at 200 rpms. The 5 gallon fuel tank would run it for days and days.

Buda made a neat truck too, the motors and transmissions were ledgendary.

I'm looking for a nice hit-or-miss motor to goof around with. Some of the 5 hp ones are six feet tall, and weigh over 500 lbs!
