Default HELP! What model Suzuki and CDI do I have?

Okay, Ive received diffrent models and info from various salvage yards.
I thought it was 83 Suzuki Katana 750?
The reason I need confirmation is because I figured out my CDI is bad. I replaced some diodes and transistors but only get spark when I touch my tester on each component. So Im just going to look for a good used CDI box. Because I dont think this is the original CDI for this bike. IF CAN SOMEONE PLEASE LEND UR EXPERTISE?
Heres Vin# and CDI#'s
JS1GR74A1D2103206 Eng#R703-105464
CD1#
NIPPODENSO SUZUKI 32900-31310 B
131100 3580 12V
Did this CDI originally come with this bike? Also, where(cheaply)can I find one that will work? Ive had it with this bike!
Thanks All.

Default What Was The Original CDI Box Number for 83 Suzuki 750 E?

Thanks for the bike info. Would you happen to know what the original CDI was that came on that bike? Also where I could find a good used one?
You're Great! Thanks!

Try The GSResources

Lots of good info, and a thriving GS community there. There might be one for sale.
