Need to see the bags on it before I decide if I like the looks. Maybe the in-person look is better than the pics.

Looks like God's Own engine configuration is the wave of the Future - Socko was right.....................
(he should be along any instant to swallow that down)

I hope you aren't saying Honda is copying stuff now. Last time I suggested that the Japanese copy things, a real bashfest ensued.

Until Honda posts up a price, I'll reserve my judgement on it. It looks ok, but I bet it is going to be expensive, like 16K plus expensive.

That's one thing good I will say for my '97 VFR, It sounded cool as all get out (when it wasn't eating reg/rec's and leaving me on the side of the road that is).........Of course, that was a REAL VFR, you know, with gear drive cams.....

This is certainly the one to watch as a new generaton of Sports Tourers takes its place in the market. I'm considering as a potential replacement a year or so from now to my 2007 BMW R-1200-RT. I'm already half sold on a a 4-cylinder job; check that as a plus. The "cardan" transmission 'a la beemer'? that's a plus too. The promise of a second generation dual-clutch? Definitely a bonus. However, there are a lot details on my R (and on the GS and GT range justo to say inside the BMW stable) that are more tham mere marketing gimmicks when you're doing 500 mile days: electronic suspension adjustemt, traction control, electric windshield, heated seat and grips, serious luggage, rider and pillion ergonomics... It will be tall order to compete with BMW in the ST segment. Last summer I rode 12,000 kms (some 8,000 miles) through Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland and Austria. One easily observes that the German marque absolutely rules the class, followed at a considerable distance by Honda with its vererable ST 1200/1300, Yamaha, Kawa, etc. On paper, it looks like the new VFR could be a credible challenger, but it needs to check a lot of boxes. In any case, as I live in Spain, I have already booked a flight to Milan next month to check-out the machine at the bike show there, which will be the European premiere. Hopefully the guys at Mo'cycle.com will give us some initial test results soon. Can't wait to read them.

I have the new V-4 generator on order. The waiting list for the V-4 lawn mower is months...

But hey - there are plenty of V-4-hybrid trash pumps and V-4 Air Compressors to be had!
