Where did you see or read this at? Every year they get a little faster. I am sure the 05ZXR6 isn't faster than the 09. Don't worry about all the old professionals in here they don't think anyone could even ride a 250 to its fullest potential. And they're grumpy too.

"The assumption on this forum is that the rider is usually the deciding factor in how fast a bike is."

The assumption on this forum? So there is a forum of stupid people that think the bike is the deciding factor?

Hey, if my post irritates, get yourself some cream or something. I was hoping this forum wouldn't be the typical "do a search newb" forum. Guess I was wrong. I'm no newb, probably bought my first bike before most were in kindergarten here. Anyway, I bought a 92 ZX6 new, 95 CBR600 in 95, 99 ZX9 new, a 96 CBR600 in 04, and a new 04 GSXR600. I was merely asking if something drastic changed in 05 or if it's bogus. I've read quite a few reviews that all say the ZX6r has crazy midrange and is the strongest 600 as well as a comfortable (for a sportbike) daily rider. I thought about a GSXR750, but the seat/peg position is quite racy for me.

Well lets see, you come on and your sig says ?? - bike? which screams new rider.

You ask what is the FASTEST! (Because we all know that matters on a daily rider)

If you're REALLY looking for a daily rider why are you looking at 600 SS anyways?

I bet most of the people on here bought their first bikes when YOU where in kindergarten.

The attitude, your sig, the questions all add up to this - stupid 16-18 year old kid looking to go FASTA! which most of the people here are rather aggressive about because most of the time it ends up witha totaled bike and a mangled, dismembered kid in a coffin.

Maybe you should have introduced yourself properly and not just jumped. If you had said "hi my name is ___. ive been riding for a while, i want X. is this correct?" you probably would have gotten a much more friendly response.

Hell, sixth grade? I think Seru was about three grades high on that assessment.

Well, if you're buying a;ll these new bikes, why not just get a used '05 ZX-6R AND a new one, and report your findings to us.

We expect full "facts and data", scientific testing, and peformance values under a wide range of conditions.

If it's true, you shall be rewarded with the admiration you deserve.
