rent a honda metropolitan for $40 a day in key west and if you can't balance it's easy to put your flip flopped foot down at the corners. People do it all the time.

I'd rather have a Morgan 3 wheeler with that J.A.P. V-twin sticking out the front. Now that is a classic.
While it's neat and everything, especially for someone in my condition, I don't think CanAm is going to sell very many. And for some reason the front reminds me of a catfish.

I do believe there is a Morgan kit out there. Uses a Honda CX or Moto Guzzi engine.
Didn't Morgan's have frames made of wood? I've got some frame material in the back yard!

Of the 3 wheeled vehicles offered to the public's view, I wish this machine had been put into production. I guess one advantage of a flat-sitting "motorcycle" is even wear across the face of the tires....
"Wolfgang Bernhardt drove the GX3 out, proving that it is a runner. It is powered by a barely muffled, 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine mounted transversely behind the seats that sends its 125 hp and 112.5 lb-ft of torque to the chain-driven, foot-wide rear tire via a six-speed manual transmission. Volkswagen claims the 1257-lb trike can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 5.7 seconds and get 46 mpg (presumably not at the same time). Even more impressive is the GX3's claim of 1.25g cornering capability." 2009 Volkswagen GX3 | Concept Photos, Reviews, & More at Automotive.com http://car.kak.net/2006/01/04/the-wo...-la-auto-show/ |

I'd try it just to experience it. Looks like it could be entertaining but those rental rates are wild. Eh I give it to them for trying though.
