Default Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha cuts production 39%

Japan's four major motorcycle manufacturers produced 360,981 units during the first six months of the year, down 39.2 percent compared to 593,384 units during the first six months of 2008, according to output figures compiled by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA). Do they report that production was cut by 39% because overall sales have slipped 30% each of the last two years (2007/200. Not to mention that they are in the middle of another terrible year that is easily down 30% or more.
Just wondering. Not really interested in reading bad news that effects my bottom line directly- I'm in a good mood right now and don't want to ruin that.
