Well Iv never had to change any cams in one, let alone a fuelfilter. However they were a hoot going in a straght line at least. Never had one come my way other than a tire change brakes or normal everyday maintanance.

My '94 Magna was bulletproof. Course it's a whole 'nother animal compared to the craptastic madura heap you're talking about.

The engine was completely revamped in the late 80s including a change in crank configuration, bigger radiator, etc. But by then the damage was done as far as V-4s go. Customers ran away from them in huge numbers. V-4s are simply too expensive to produce compared to I-4s. That's why they are not the wave of the future and will always remain a small niche market. The V-Max is about the only one left. Honda is apparently going to release a larger Interceptor, but it will not sell very well because of a price that rivals the new BMW 1200s. Why would someone want a Honda badge on the tank when they can have a BMW badge for the same money?

Duh cause it's a HONDA and HONDA's are better!!!!!!

Whats BMW ever done but build bikes, cars and aeroplane engines? HONDA builds lawn mowers, generators, 2 and four wheeled automobiles and neat robots! of course they're better plus they're Japanese..everyone knows the Japanese build good stuff....
