That's what I did. The ironic thing is, I have one of the few FZ1's I have seen in Colorado. Everybody is either on a cruiser or a sport bike. Call it an original!

All the magazine (eek, I read them too) long term writups I have read suggest that the Benelli is pretty problem prone. Nothing catastrophic, just niggly pain in the butt type stuff.

Still an appealing bike, but I would take a Triumph Tiger over this.

Some of the guys take it to the extreme, installing a German-made (like the ShamWOW) "beak" on the damn things. Shoulda just bought a used GS if they wanted one that bad.

This Benni is a pretty nice looking bike, but it's so close to the Strom in every respect it's hard to imagine the price. At least the BMW has differentiators such as the shaft drive and air-cooling.

It's funny, I can not access the site TigerTriple.com at work, due to the firewall installed. It was ok at first, then it was blacklisted. Guess I'll just have to bum around here! That, or do some actual WORK!

Especially if it has the Arrow pipe on it!

On top of the price difference anybody with any brains (which admittedly is not a lot of people) would choose DL over Tre1130K if they had to do any serious riding like crossing Sahara.
