Default 2009 Triumph Bonneville SE price?

I recently test rode a Bonneville SE and was blown away.
Can anyone tell me what a good starting price offer would be?
Or what the dealer cost is so I have a good starting point?
I really wanna make an offer and see how low I can get the price but definitely can't afford the $8399 msrp.
Thanks

Time for you to look at a used one. I doubt they will go much lower than MSRP on a new one.

Nope, the price is the price I'm afraid, it's not like cars.

As it happens I'm going to win a brand new '09 Bonnie and a fully restored '69 Bonnie in the AMA Motorcycle Museum Support raffle in which I have invested $5.00 for a ticket................not that I'm going to sell it to you or anything, I'm just saying $5.00 is the cheapest price I've seen for one....

+1 on the full price.

You might get a break on a Demo, but usually it's only 10%, if that.

And Snarli, it's a fifty-nine and an '09, and I've already won them. I'm further East, time zones, etc.

Sorry!

Try low-balling them. Motorcycle dealers are dying to sell bikes right now.

No, you are not. I have already purchased the winning ticket in that raffle. However, you may come over and polish The Twins on weekends. Carefully.

I got slapped for saying that once! She failed to appreciate the humor, apparently.

Hand me that Carnuba wax...a light buffing is in order here.

Two bike mags in a row did write-ups on the new SE; apparently Triumph flew a bunch of motojournos to N'awlins for a few days of eating, drinking, and promoting. Everybody loved the bike, and it does look good.

Wonder why they didn't invite Mr. Duke? Must have seen him on one too many choppers here of late.
