Hey. I was curious about what brand of leathers everyone prefers and why- Is there a certain brand that you have used that you would recommend, not recommend, or some that are just okay?

Adam- your marketing technique is going to need some work if you want to play on this site. We're a lot of grizzled old riders (with the exception of a few) and we don't really do the questionnaire thng.
But because you came out to play here you go:
I wear textile TourMaster gear. Aplinestarts gloves and Icon boots. Would I wear AGV equipment?- used to own a few different helmets, but not anything else. Why? No particular reason. Mostly, it's a cost vs durability and look type of thing.
I said this when you guys hit last week. If you want opinion then start sending things to Kevin Duke to test. With all the guys that pull duty at MO I'm sure some swag gear would get an honest write-up.

FWIW, I use only textile stuff. It's too freakin' hot (and, it's a wet heat!) here for leather.

I have an AGV mesh jacket. The snaps fell off the cuffs and I use safety pins to close them up.

I wear Fox Creek leather when I wear it, it's way better than that AGV gear. I wouldn't wrap my dog up in that stuff, paper thin, poor stitching, the color bleeds and I hear the dyes they use are lead and cadmium based, pretty toxic stuff there, ill fitting and just generally poor quality. Expensive too......

Actually in this particular climate leather isn't the best option anyway because it's mostly cooler and wet. I use an Aerostitch suit or if it's hot out just jeans and a shirt, take your pick but I'd stay away from AGV stuff.

Of course, if you have any Models that somewhat resemble the one in the pic I posted above - send them to ME, and I'LL post an Honest Review after I test them out............
