Ride To Work Day........
It seems today is international Ride to Work Day, I trust all us MOrons did just that. Out there, showing the flag...our banner proudly flapping in the breeze...heavy booted feet stretched out, leather clad fist gripping fat American handrips in a steely grasp.... (ehm).. sorry,...wrong thread...
Anyway todays the day, break out your bike those of you pantywaist's that don't ride everyday and show some class on your bike...

This day is the one day I'm sure to take off from riding to work. It's kinda like staying in on New Years Eve for me.

Normally I'd be riding, but the LOML is running the Summer Camp, so I am saddled with delivering the little darlin's in the morning...
On the plus side, it has been Ethiopia Hot here the last week, and due to get hotter the middle of this week. So I'm not too glum about putzing around in Air Conditioned Comfort...

Well, my truck blew a fuel pump 100 miles from home in Mt Pleasant last Saturday. So we got a ride home and today I blew off work and rode down on the Goldwing and arranged getting a new pump installed and then rode home. Does that qualify?
What kind of clown needs encouragement to ride to work? Keep those Sunday only guys away from me, please.

No bike for me today. I have something wrong with my knee (?? torn meniscus). MRI is tomorrow. We'll see.

Well looks like the RTW jinx is still in effect....just went out to the garage and noticed a couple of drips on the floor. I lifted the bike up on my Handy Dandy Harley Davidson floor lift and with a rag, flashlight and inspection mirror and discovered what looks like a blown seal on the mainshaft. I'll call the shop tomorrow and see when I can get it in since it a warranty item, hopefully I won't be down for long. Right when the weather gets nice too, I put up with riding in crap weather 9 months out of the year and the bike takes a sh*t when it gets nice out.....un-fuking-beleivable......
