Well vote early and vote often............

Another nice one from HD, I agree it's stupid to get rid of the standard Sporty though. Harley seems to be obssed with marketing to shrimps these days with their low this and low that. Why bother? everybody knows short people are useless except for crawling in mud drums and bilges.

The HD Marketing Group did some tests with "Al-u-minium 883" but the response was poor. They did get a fairly good reaction to the "Tit-Tanium 883" name, but not in the crucial female market segment surveyed. "Yet Another Warmed Over Sportster Parts Bin Bike" got high points for accuracy, but they couldn't fit the name on most of the Genuine Harley Accessory Catalog parts.

Only Harley-Davidson would try to convince us that they invented the color black, with a perfectly straight face, no less.

So, it's a flat black 883 low. Looks nice but it's not going to get them out of the mire they find themselves in.

Tsk tsk Kenneth. To take the mickey out of this masterpiece is totally uncalled for.

Do you have any idea that both of the HD's engineers spent weeks developing this Masterpiece? Ok so what if Edgar spent half of the time in the rehab?

They started with a clean sheet of paper and an unlimited budget ($ 1,400) and look at it now: the most beautiful flat black you can imagine. And more than that, it uses the edgy "rubber engine mount" technology of the legendary standard Sporster. Which is so much feared by the other manufacturers that they even call it The Towering Inferno.

Anyone got a spare can of flat black paint? We can help out those unfortunate people who can't afford those Harley black models. How about a V-Strom Black for Ken? A BMW Black for 12er? Two Black Race Replicas for Moke. The opportunities to do good are endless.
