Thanks guys, I now the picture is very suspect. No need for there to 2 guys on that bike. Any idea of the model and year? And are they new or vintage? Thanks again.

I wasn't like every other kid, you know, who dreams about being an astronaut, I was always more interested in what bark was made out of on a tree.

With Enfields, I don't think the 'year' matters.

Until the most recent models, they were still using the same rocks and sticks to make them that have been used for 50 years.

Now, supposedly, they are built very much better.

Here ya go:

Royal Enfield Motorcycles - The Official home of Royal Enfield in the USA

Enfields come in a lot of different paint and equipment schemes. I'm sure you will find something that suits you. They are very reasonably priced.

Notice the chrome on the tank? Probably a 441.

skunk,

Go out and get yoursself a Bonneville Black. Probably as cool a 'citybike' as you will find.

And, they are as reliable as a hammer.

Watch the movie, "How to lose a guy in a week" or whatever it was called. Not a Bonnie Black, but a similar bike, but with Kate Hudson on the back.

Trivia - at least one of the bikes used in that movie was given to a race team to develop a flat-tracker. The bike had no VIN, so had to be 'destroyed' after filming. See, the OEM must ensure the vehicle is never operated on a public road.

I was told the biggest tech hurdle they had was moving the shifter to the right side.

This isn't another one of these genius marketing plans we keep getting on MO is it? You aren't the guy behind the website are you? I hope not.
