You'd think that for your $14k you'd get some cool electronic suspension set-up like on BMWs. I like it. I'd buy it. About 10 yrs from now when it's value is about $5k. Cool little toy for zipping around the country side where I live, though.

The quote I like is: "a $5,000 scooter with a $9,000 transmission."

Yeah, how about this: you can get an MP3 500 from Piaggio for under 9k. Which would you rather have if you were in the market for a scooter?

I resent that!

Mainly because I own seven pieces of obscure Honda machinery...... (4 Hawks, 2 VTR's, and the Pacific Toast)

BTW - if anyone in the Chi-town area is looking for a like-new example of a '98 Honda Plastic Cooltastic, my Bro Julian is thinkin' about sellin' his. You have never seen one this clean since the mid-'90s. No Shatz.

More obscure than that. Hell, THAT VTR is "Mainstream" compared to the quarter-liter VTRs.

I'd still take a VTR250. I knew a chick about 10 years ago that ran one of them. Pretty sweet...the bike too.

This is exactly the product you turn out when trying to score a grand slam capitalizing on $4/gal gasoline. Too bad the gas prices dropped and you were too far into the project, heavily invested, and couldn't react to market conditions fast enough. Way to support your dealership network Honda by turning out crap bikes nobody wants in an already sluggish economy.
