Just out of sheer interest, what can you guys tell me about the Duke Supersport 750? compared to something like the SV650? Just wondering....

Not sure if you were really interested in the Ebay listing or not, but, don't get your hopes up for a cheap find. The guy has a reserve on it and it is probably priced a bit high for what it is. Reserved listings usually are. Because people that post reserve listing are usually stupid. |

Sat on once at the local bike stealership. Had ergos like a pretzel factory. No way I could fold my lanky legs up on that contraption. Made for midgits... err... "little people".

The difference between the SS and the SV are as follows: You can get a newer SV for the same money as the older SS. You can get more performance parts for the SV vs the SS. You can expect to pay more to maintain the SS vs the SV. Lastly, you get more chicks with a SS vs the SV. So, it's a toss up. Chicks and maintainance vs cheap and easy to off in you need funds. Priorities are everything.

NATT,
The Ducatisti will correct me, but I feel I should point out that the slang term for a Ducati is "Duck". "Duke" refers to a couple other things, primarily the bike built by KTM. There is also the 'Iron Duke', Duke Ellington, Dukes of Hazzard, Duke Skywalker, among others. Glad to help!

You should sit on one. The ergos are a *lot* more aggressive than an sv. I wouldn't ride one without having risers installed on it. They are fuel injected (which is a good thing in my opinion).
