I happened to be at one today and ended up hearing a tale of woe. Orders had been reduced by at least half! The sales manager was beside himself. His 'busa order an GSXR orders had been slashed., along with everything else. Said he had requested 6 Wee Stroms but would only recieve 2. No bikes for you America!

Quickly ran off to my favorite dealer and was reassured it was only a Suzuki thing. Then I got offered test rides on Jap bikes, finally. One can only wonder if it's because of my, admittedly new, buy local policy or I was heard to mention another dealership?

I guess Suzuki doesn't want thousands of unsold bikes sitting around from 2009. They already have enough from 2008.

Stopped by my local Suzuki dealership yesterday. There were no tales of woe. They had a new Gladius sitting on display. Kind of different. Seat height was kinda' high for ladies and newbies.
