Let's face it, the fewer people that know it's a Honda, the better Honda and the bike owner like it. It's not like they go and buy all kinds of Honda emblems to plaster it with.

The DN-01 languished on the floor, but the Furry sold like grass, ass, and Bob Marley CD's at a Hippie Renaissance-Fair.......
Well good because I was losing sleep worrying about Honda's profitablility.

I'v sold and seen much more c50's and vn900's leaving the showroom than any Fury. When a fury leaves the showroom it's like a rare event which turns into a small party. Heck even the XVS1700 and XV1900 are leaving before the Fury's. The strats arent cheap, even with the hugh discounts dealers are giving right now 11-or12g's is alot to drop. Remember when the customer knows the cheaper price range then say from Harley's(across the street) they try and talk you down even more.

Honda's and YamaStar's aren't Harley's. They may well be nice bikes, maybe even as good as a Victory but in the end they're still Japanese bikes. People (I would assume) just don't want to pay that much for a Japanese bike.

One of my associates rides a YamaStar all year round and put's some serious miles on it. It's holding up but a lot of the nuts and bolts are showing rust and the Plasti-Chrome is looking pretty shabby, whereas my FLHT still looks fine under it's semi-permanent layer of road muck. The Yammi just doesn't have the air of quality that the Harley does.

Right! The Fury is the best-selling metric model. Pretty sure Star is the best-selling Japanese cruiser line.
