Best-selling Metric - I can believe it. The thing is a "Factory Chopper" for a fraction of the cost of some P.O.S. from OCC, and looks easily as good as any bike that ever came from their garage.

Somewhat of a Left-hand compliment, I know.........

Based on what I see on the street, I'd have guessed the Star line was #1. What's your guess, Mokely?

Same here. HDs are by far the most common cruiser but Yamaha's cruisers far out number Honda's. Suzuki's are more common too, especially the 50 series. I haven't seen a single Furry yet.

Even if the Furry is the best selling metric MODEL the total sales of Yamahas and Suzukis are much higher here.

I've seen one Fury.

In the northeast I see a lot of VTX models. More than I ever did in Arizona.

I don't think I've ever seen one, next to HD the YamaStar is the most popular here also. The one that looks like a Road King, the Stratoliner or something...

How would anyone know if they actually saw a Fury? It doesn't say the word 'Honda' on it anywhere.

Excellent point my friend, you would be inclined to think it was a one off custom some guy pieced together with skill and craftsmanship, not some factory spin-off! Those welds alone scream "Lincoln-arc welder plugged into the dryer outlet when the ol' ladies not doing laundry"...just like a real chopper!

All I know is, of the three Honda Dealers local to me - all of them sold their allotments of Fury's essentially "sight unseen", and were beggin' Honda for more of 'em. One dealer told me they had a guy that didn't even wait for them to uncrate it - he went down and "helped", then rode it out the door.

Choppaz and Cruizaz ain't my cuppa' - but it really beat all I ever saw, 'cuz I never even got to see one of 'em.........

The DN-01 languished on the floor, but the Furry sold like grass, ass, and Bob Marley CD's at a Hippie Renaissance-Fair.......

It says 'honda' on what would be the battery cover.

But, the one I saw was parked so I was able to get a good look at it. The motor area was very Honda-looking, to me at least. And the shaft gave it away also.
