Funny that you mention the D675 as an "oddball". Different. Not Odd. Otherwise, MV, BMW and someone else I can't think of wouldn't be stepping into the triple market. Those Euro guys are outside the box, I guess.
I think that the 848 would fit into this group- just barely. Think of it like this- if you can race it in World Supersport then it fits the comparo. Great write-up. Go figure the Ninja wins. I though for sure that the new CBR would walk away with it. The Euro rags think it's the rage. Personally, I'd probably give up the power (stock) to get the ABS. Then add a pipe and power commander to get what I wanted out of the motor.

Come to Tucson for dry track testing.. er, where youll have to pack off 100 miles north, actually.
Tasty article, so much performance available in this class, that: i would have to stick with the sexiest, and simply make mods as needed. Still the wee R6 fer me. |

Smokin' rides. Too bad I can't fold my lanky butt up on these midget bikes. I'll be looking forward to the ZX-6R and Daytona comparo. My money would be on the Daytona.

Funny you should mention that. I just signed up at World Gym today. Weight has never been my problem - it's the daddy long-legs appendages.

Cool bikes, amazing performance. I gave up even trying to sit on them though. Not my cuppa tea anymore
