Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows what the switch on the handlebars on the new rmz's saying MAP1 - MAPx10 do? and how does it effect the bike?

Switchable maps? I didn't hear about that option in any of the tests!

Is this an RMZ450 we're talking about?

No it's a RMZ250, might be an aftermarket feature then...
can't figure out what it does though...

So you bought it used, Iam assuming. Why not ask the previous owner? Or trace the wire back and see where it leads to?

Probably different ignition maps. Definitely NOT STOCK!

Maybe it has GPS, and the switch is a sort of 'zoom' function...

If MAP1 gives it 42hp, it only stands to reason that MAPx10 must give it 420hp........

Make sure your ass is well-planted and you've a firm grip on the bars before hamfistin' the throttle on this'n.............
