Look at the site - Mobil - The Oil That's Changing Oil
You can (after registering, of course) download a rebate coupon for $10 off on a purchase of five 1-quart bottles, or one 5-quart bottle of Mobil 1, or an oil change (using Mobil 1) between April 1st and August 31st. Limit two per household! For you airedales, that would be $20... I use the 15W-50 Extended Performance in my Sprint. The bottle used to have a Gold cap, but they changed the packaging a while back. I buy the 5-qt jug at WalMart for around $20. No issues in the 955i. No oil consumption, no clutch slip, nada. You're Welcome!

Thanks man! I've been usin' Mobil1 for years in everything. The only exceptions being the Bullitt gets the Motorcraft synthetic-blend (~$10 for 5 qts at Mal-Wart), and as the crapbox econo-Hyundai The Wife just bought takes the same weight (5w-20), I'll probably use Motorcraft in it as well.
Ever'thin' else gets the Mobil1.

I prefer Mobil1, but since moving back to MN almost 3 years ago I haven't been able to find the motorcycle oil anywhere. I'm forced to use the Kawi branded synth dyno-lube.

Castrol R4 Full Synthetic. Mobil is good, no doubt, but those wily Orientals (or Euros, or whatever the hell they are) at Castrol have been big supporters of Klazy Ken Seminars. You buy on sale at Cycle Gear (Cycle Gear - Motorcycle Apparel, Parts and Accessories, press the KK promo code button for a big discount) for $8. Oil cheap, motor spensive. You stupid you not buy Castrol!

I use Rotella 15w40 in the bike in the winter and HD360 20w50 in the summer and change it and the filter every 5k.
I use Shell cheapo 5w30 in the Explorer and also change it and the filter every 5k. In the past I've used Mobil 1 MX4T in unit engines but I don't see much point in a seperate engine and trans.

I use the High Mileage Valvoline synth for my 75k+ K100rs. Hasn't failed me in over 20k mi. Before that I was using the high dollar Repsol products. About 2 yrs ago I snapped to my senses. I'm not completely cured but I'm much better, now.

Nothing like being on waterhours so you boyz could wash their airplanes, not that water hours ever bothered a pit snipe, we had a main condenser full of hot water 24/7....we had to put up with the rest of the crew reeking though.

Geeze, doesn't anyone use plain ol' Castrol any more? It's perfect for those hairpin valve springs.
