No, bone stock. You showed the dyno for the OLD Concours ( 1998 ), not the new Concours 14.

That a 2L air cooled engine doesn't make any more TORQUE than a 1.4L water-cooled 4 is pretty pathetic.

Ahhh, you have the new Connie! Cool. Different animal man. I love that bike. Pushrod tech ain't the same as overhead cam tech, but we love em just the same.

Red face Not a bad point.

If the goal is "Big Stonkin Engine", these things are pathetic.

My Connie 14 gets 2x the power down to the rear wheel (dynoed out at 150hp), and more torque (>90 ft-lbs over most of the revv range).

How can people, with a straight face, call a 75 hp motorcycle (a whopping 10hp more than an SV650, and 25hp less than a 600 supersport) a "muscle" cruiser?
FWIW, that wasn't my first choice of story title, but circumstances prevented it from being changed. Personally, I like to refer to cruisers like this pair as, "performance" cruisers.

Of the two I'd take the Warrior, It's a lot less plasticy looking than the Zook plus no tank seam and with better performance and handling to boot, You also get to sing the Warrior song which will be stuck in your head all day

YouTube - Patty Smyth and Scandal - The Warrior (HiQuality)

Patty wasn't too bad looking back then. One of my MTV faves! Does anyone remember when MTV acually played music videos?

Ha! You just committed one of the classical blunders (the worst example of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia") but only slightly less well known is "Don't go looking for improved handling in cruisers because in short order you will no longer be looking at cruisers!"

About the same time that Patty smith looked good. At least she took longer to self-destruct than a lot of her emulators. Like Amy Winehouse. Yikes. Ever seen someone go to hell that fast?

But Joan Jett is still rockin'. Woman must have sold her soul to the devil.

Oh yeah, she's eye candy alright, even though the video is gay as a picnic basket. VH1 is the only plce for tunes now I'm afraid.

Don't forget VH-1 Classic, MTV-2 and Fuse for music videos.
