Illmor is in talks with KHI about running the GP team. If it were my company I'd ask Kenny Sr if he'd manage and develop the bike with Illmor doing the machining and R&D. Kenny's a pretty smart cookie. Who else would be crazy enough to build GP bikes with no backing? Could you imagine what he could do with a little tech help from KHI, development and R&D from Illmor? I'd bet Marco could get on the box before mid-year. Not sure about Hopkins, but Marco clearly would have a shot.

Yikes I forgot all about Ilmor. It could get crowded on that podium this year. I predi.... ah lot's of folks will be there in this possibly last year till 2013. Rossi of course, Casey sure. Will Nicky tame the Duc? Will Dovi eat Dani's lunch and kick sand in his face? Will Jorge stay healthy? Mika for rookie of the year, it would be nice if it were a 2 man team with a mentor. Sete', um I dunno. Sorry I'm jones'n. Marco on the box, it would be nice but I think with all the young guns it'll be a stretch.
C'mon Quatar! Last I checked there would be a 'mercan in all classes this year. Hope that doesn't change. Now if only WSBK would offer a live feed.

Soup :: Kawasaki To Race AMA 600 Class With Hayden & Attack :: 01-21-2009
I think I made this call about Christmas that KHI would let Attack be the corp face of the Monster team. That leaves Suzuki. They'll be in by the first week of Feb. HA! A-holes b!tched about tanks and development and whatnot for what? The whole thing was a joke. DMG did what was needed to make racing a show and the Factories conceeded. Now, where's Jamie racing! He signed his deal. Man up Kawi and send the contract back. A four bike Attack squad would be hard for Yamaha to beat.
