My first subscription, sniff. I'm so proud. This should be great to watch.

One thing that should be added to the project bike is a centerstand.

First step, upgrade those wimpy forks and shock with KX hardware. Shouldn't be too hard to find a used set-up.

It's been done before, and transforms the bike, although in a direction you may not want to go.

The best thing to do is to jack up the license plate and install a Wee Strom under it

Heres what I did to my '00

Oversized front rotor, galfer green pads and steel braided line.
Progressive fork springs
K&N air filter, drilled out airbox
Dynajet kit
supertrap IDS II
gel grips
bark busters
Kawasaki tail bag
street tires on the stock hoops
Moved the license plate up
changed headlight to halogen

You could afford all that but not the braided lines?

Oh gosh, I didn't know that braided lines were made of "steal".
