Ride Coast to Coast in ONE DAY
If you happen to be in FL this weekend, check out this website:
FLC2C 2011 It doesn't look like much from the website, but I went last year, and it was by far the best ride of the entire year. The people who put it together find amazing routes; rolling hills, country lanes, lots and lots of CURVES! People come from all over the state and the US; I met some very cool riders last year and learned a lot of great stuff about LD riding. The ride starts in Seffner, FL, which is just outside of Tampa, and after a very circutuous route, ends in Daytona.

Freeway onramps and overpasses don't count as hills and curves there mon Frere..

This year I'm bringing my camera to prove the skeptics wrong.
You know what's tragic? I ride so few curves and hills day to day, the first hour I felt like I was learning to ride again. Plus I had a completely squared-off rear, which sucked. This year, I "spooned on fresh buns."
