2 way trip | Karnal Lake (For Delhi and Patiala bikers)

First of its kind, this will be a two way trip.

Delhi and Patiala bikers will drive for the same destination i.e. Karnal Lake on 7th August 2011

This will be a single day trip in which both sides will meet at Karnal and get back to their starting points by the evening.

Pointers:

Please carry the required documents (RC, license, Pollution, etc) along.

Please drive safely and avoid overtaking/stunts.

Drive in a 2X2 fashion with your headlights at low beam.

Hungry Horses is a group of motorcycle Enthusiasts which started in Delhi and has now spread over Patiala and Kolkata as well. The riders of this group do not need to own any particular motorcycle. All you need is the passion to ride.

Schedule: 7th August 2011:

05:30 am : Reach first meeting point i.e. Kashmiri Gate metro station (Entry gate near Mc Donald)

06:00 am : Departure

06:30 am : Rest of the bikers can join us directly at 2nd meeting point i.e. Bus-stop at Karnal bypass flyover (just after the loop)

07:45 am : A 15 min break at Murthal to click photos, etc.

10:00 am : Reach Oasis restaurant, Karnal

10:30 am : Breakfast and meeting with Patiala riders

12:00 pm : Leave for Delhi

03:30 pm: Back in Delhi

05:00 am Depart from Nabha

06:00 am First meeting point : Punjabi University gate

06:30 am Depart from Punjabi University

07:30 am Second meeting point: Rajpura, Gagan chowk

08:30 am Break (15 min) at Ambala bus stand

10:15 am Reach Oasis

10:30 am Breakfast

11:00 am Meeting/ Get together with Delhi riders

12:00 pm Leave for Patiala

03:00 pm Back in Patiala

Seriously - what a Great Idea!

Anyone that takes this ride, PLEASE post-up a "Ride Report", and links to any pictures.

I would absolutely LOVE to go on this daytrip, myself - but Distance (among about a hundred other obstacles) precludes my participation.
