Hi Guys,

Don't forget, if you are in the Pacific Northwest, the up-coming Oyster Run. Tens of thousands of Harleys and metric clones, sport bikes, vintage restored bikes on display---and, last year--under a dozen sidecars! (Yes, it's an exclusive club.....yes, I'm proud....)

The last Sunday in September is the day, Anacortes, Washington is the place. Usually people ride a loop of the county, hitting various small stands and pubs for all oysters of all varieties: baked, BBQ, raw---name it, you can get it!

But the highlight is the bikes---we take over the whole downtown, like a tiny, mini Sturgis. It's great. It's free--just bring lots of sunscreen and plan to wolf down lots of the ocean's bounty (or burgers if ya want) and check out all the bike-related vendors. A great way to spend a day!

I'll be there on Jaelith, my '77 Yammie XS650 with the gold sidecar. Look for me if you show up---I'll have the only gold chair there, I guarantee it! (Now watch---there'll be six of 'em!)

It will be fun!

It acts like "Rain-X" for your body - the rain just slides right off, the faster you go........

Now, now, Boys---be nice. We catch a glimpse of that old "USO" (Unidentified Shining Object") once in awhile......

In fact, last year my nose peeled! Besides, so you ride in a little rain---it's worth it for the oysters!

I'll try'n make it. We went out to the Ocean Shores run this year, mainly because my dad lives there and it was an excuse to ride out and visit. Them oysters are tasty little boogers, If I make it out I'll keep an eye out for ya'

"boogers" and "tasty" are two mutually-exclusive words that should never be used in the same sentence. Although I'll agree that oysters taste like snot............

Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tanhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain.
