And not one pristine Katana 600 to be seen.

Of all the various hazards in the world there are few that beat an open belt primary. That's one of those things that the owners of think are really cool, but everyone else sees a total moron. Sort of like H3 owners.

Amen! You'd think that if you just had to have a big belt drive, you'd at least have a side plate to keep the belt from ingesting anything.

There was a gal here a few years back that had some dangly bits on her boot or pant leg, and was riding pillion. For whatever reason, her left foot slipped off front of the footrest, and the belt caught her. Yanked her off the bike (fortunately not moving more than a bit), and tied her left leg in a knot. Destroyed her knee, and broke her lower leg into pieces. The Orthopod managed to save her leg, but she'll never play WNBA ball.

Also, I've always been very skeptical of the jockey shift. Take your hand off the steering to shift gears. Makes a bit more sense in a car, but jeez!

Anyway, some good lookin' bikes there, LR! No deals on an old Sporty to be found, I guess?

Actually I found one. Picking it up tomorrow. A 72 in a few pieces. I will see what kind of cheap bobber it can become. And my Knuck WILL have a jockey! No open primary though. I never liked that look.

Someone needs to buy the knucklehead who owns the Knucklehead in picture # 5 some penetrating oil for the chain adjuster on that garage queen.

The rest of them look great, ditto on open primaries..the quickest way to turn a simple spill into a new clutch, transmission and crank pin. Hand bangers are fun though, just takes a little practice and a good front brake.

What is this "front" brake-thing of which you speak? You mean there is another brake pedal in front of the brake pedal?
