I think Page acknowledges that they wouldn't use the Zep name. But you gotta record an album and play that and at least a hour of Zep & other tunes to fill concert time. Remember the story about Keith Moon saying the New Yardbirds name would go over like a Led Zeppelin- hence the name? Well, why not use the New Yardbirds as a smiling nod to Keith? There'd be alot of flexibility using Chris as a front man. He'd be able to use his material with a legendary backline. They'd be able to use his amazing range for the old material and Chris could make the new material stand out with his own vocal stamp.

This thing will be like watching an old-timers football game, nostalgic and harmless, but I wouldn't pay a dime for it.

Nothing can stand up to UFO's "Too hot to handle"...well maybe "War Pigs" or "Iron Man"...

I'd go with UFO's 'Lights Out' on their live album if I had to choose, but Sabbath had it over them I think.

Saw the first Page / Plant tour twice, second time got free corp box seats otherwise I wouldnt of paid again. Just saw Santana last month, with all his preaching to the lord and Obama I'm sure you all would of walked out, we left early and I voted for O.

Couple years ago Sammy Hagar came round and the last hour of a 3 hour show was all the original Montrose members, now that was awesome!

Ive been forced (well constant air play) to listen to zep on the radio for the last 30 years, just cant do it any more.

I agree that Sabbath was Ozzy, and I enjoyed Dio on his solo stuff.

Ah the foggy memories, dont know about this getting old thing...

Dude, you haven't heard "Stairway to Heaven" nearly enough times yet!

Fortunately the best Zep (all on Album 1 and 3) don't get much airtime. It's like Pink Floyd and the way they play those two stupid songs constantly. You'd think that the only things they ever recorded were "Money" and "Comfortably Numb". You never really ever hear the real good Floyd stuff like "Watch Out With That Axe Eugene". Same with Zep and Album2 & 4. Yeeesh.

What about the Air Supply reunion tour in '09? I've heard the rumours but it's probably just too good to be true.

It's a split bill. Air Supply is the 2nd act. Then ABBA goes in for the kill. I think Alicia Bridges is opening.
