Default More of what we already know

Hot Air » Blog Archive » Obama supporter steals vote from disabled man

And another example of the utter stupidity of liberal social programs:

FOXNews.com - Hawaii Ending Universal Child Health Care After 7 Mos. - Politics | Republican Party | Democratic Party | Political Spectrum

There is much humor to be had in the world. Especially when watching the looters.

"People who were already able to afford health care began to stop paying for it so they could get it for free," said Dr. Kenny Fink, the administrator for Med-QUEST at the Department of Human Services. "I don't believe that was the intent of the program."

You know what you call the people that do this? Obama supporters!

I'm leaving Sunday afternoon for Maui where I will be personally investigating this story.

And you're not!

Any half-wit could predict that people would scam the system. People are defaulting on mortgages now, even though they can easily afford them, because they think they can clean up on the "bail-out". Heh heh. Stop calling them "unintended consequences". The people who create these free handout scams know what they are doing. So, whaddya think longride? Are libs evil or just demented?

You mean that I could save myself five more years of payments on my house if I just quit sending in money to the Bank right now?

I did have to cut back a bit - instead of paying a 30-yr mortgage off in 12-1/2 years, it's gonna be more like 14 for me.

Social programs will be the end of us. Crying about the Iraq war spending when we spent about 1.5 trillion dollars a year on social programs seems a bit out of whack. I'm going to love having a Dem Prez and Congress. We are going to have a fun 4 years, me and you.

My ex-dirtbike riding buddy, a plumber (who hated it when I'd blow by his new KTM 525 on a 22 year old CR500) is going to purchase a 40 foot "toy box" with pop-out bedrooms, satellite TV and internet, granite counter tops, etc..etc..

Now to me that might be a good idea, live like a gypsy. Get a reliable pick-up for the 5th wheel, and just drive around and park when you're ready to bed down for the evening. No postal address=no tax bill. Just disappear from the tax rolls all together. Live out in the desert, and just worry about DMV fees, oil and gas.

If he's Union he can do that quite easily. When I worked in the shipyards as a Pipefitter we had a lot of travelers come up from out of state and jump in for the duration of a job. The yard built 20 ton Crab Boats like on deadly catch and the closer we got till the season started the more hours you worked. Guys would come up from California or Oregon and work 7-12s for a month or two then head back home or up to Alaska to work on the pipeline, basically knock out $100k in 6 months and party the rest of the year..

That sounds like a great lifestyle. I did something like that when I lived on a sailboat for 6 years; instead of having the bikes hanging off the bike, I had a nice Zodiac dinghy for "going into town." Once you had your initial setup, you could probably live on Social Security benefits for the day to day stuff.
