Default A Bad Day To Die Hard

Man, did this movie suck. Gone are all the humor and interesting characters and the slickness and great one-liners. Instead we get a standard topical braindead action "plot". Well, mostly an hour plus of stupid impossible CGI stunts that are ultimately boring. Oh, don't forget the stupid "I hate you Dad" utterly predictable sidebar.

Instead of Alan Rickman or Samuel "Mmmmm.. Bytch" Jackson we get... well I don't know who we got. They were totally forgettable. And if you are a Mary Elizabeth Winstead fan, forget it. She only has about 1 minute total and part of that is on the cell phone. This was another entirely cynical "slam bam something together and use name recognition to take the fools movie dollars" excuse of a movie. Don't waste your $.

I haven't seen a decent action movie since "Red". But then any movie that has Helen Mirren with a Browning M2 machine gun is okay in my book.

I agree Red was very well done. Mirren was quite the babe when younger. Thanks for the heads up GDTDH.

I have yet to read or hear one good review of this film. Then again, the original was SO good that anything else is almost bound to disappoint. However, we have the new GI Joe movie with Willis to look forward to. "Call me Joe."

Did anybody else watch "Moonlighting" back when? Damn that was a great show.

I agree with the assessment.

They definitely radio'd this one in.

But hey! Apparently Bruce has signed up to do #6!
