Default This Just In

From the European Desk:

BMW has sold Husqvarna to a company owned by the CEO of KTM, Pierer Industries AG. Pierer has no direct relationship with KTM.

Stating a "collapse of the off-road motorcycle market," BMW will "concentrate our efforts on selling large-displacement, overpriced motorcycles aimed at up-market customers who park their motorcycles in the garage and rarely ride them, and mid-market Gen X and X-Wannabees who think giant scooters are a fashion statement."

Default Smart move.

The off road industry must be disappearing if BMW Is selling off Husky. If they were subsidized they could keep them and lose even more money. What ever the reason they can continue to make quality profitable street machines.
