True. I just looooooove getting smarmy moral lessons from people who spend their spare time commuting between rehab and divorce court.

Sunshine and Moon are both good. And neither one is big budget.

Moon stars the always-awesome Sam Rockwell.

Moon was a fun one. I zone out to Dances with Smurfs (Avatar) now that FX is playing it almost every day if nothing else is on. At least it has pretty colors... Pandorum I like. Promethius I was really wanting to see also, but now I'll pass. Since I was hoping to use it to wash out alien 3 and 4 from memory, though sounds like they are winners in comparison. Guess I'll go to Moonlight Kingdom with the wife instead. Hoping its better than life aquatic.

The fact that they have suffered so much in life is what gives them the moral authority to tell others what to do.

We should all be glad they have excorsized their demons and "found themselves" and by so doing have gained insight into things people like us have no clue about.

I specially like the ones who give appearences and motivational speaches (for a nominal "contribution" of course) in order to share their experiances with us, the little people that we may better our lives...

Oh, God, no. It's better than those atrocities by far. If you're an Alien fanboy, it's worth seeing. And it does have some nice visuals. I just expected more. If you go in with low expectations, you might like it.

I never have high expectations going into a movie anymore. Basically expect them all to be awful. Aliens the directors cut is about my favorite horror flick though, I have the box set. Watched Alien again Memorial Day weekend when I was rained out of World Superbike in SLC. Other than the monochrome ship controls its holding up well over time.
